About Us
Ho Chi Minh City Development Learning Center (HDLC) is a cooperative project of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee and the World Bank. Its main goal is to develop and integrate through the GDLN known as a videoconference based distance-learning network spanning more than 120 centers worldwide.
Our services and facilities are as follows:
+Distance Learning Videoconferencing: HDLC has a specialized training room that allows people around the world to meet through videoconferencing. The state-of-the-art interactive classroom can accommodate up to 100 people and also has facilities that include computers with access to the internet, on-line training resources, simultaneous translation and other support equipment. +Library: The HDLC library is an open access reference library which stocks books, videos, CD-ROM, project/policy reports and general development information from a wide range of government agencies and official development agencies working in HoChiMinh city and Vietnam. The library provides the free use of internet; current statistical data; economic, social and political information on development activities in HCM city, Vietnam and ASEAN; relevant daily newspapers and has document covering activities over the past five years.More details
